Fresno Regional Foundation contacted us asking for video and photo event coverage of a mariachi opera called El Bracero that was being shown in Earlimart, CA. The opera was produced by the Visalia Opera Company. The idea behind the event was to engage rural communities by experiencing a public presentation in a non-traditional space.
The purpose of the video was to tell the story of what took place and to serve as a report for the foundation. Our team pitched the idea of doing a mini-documentary. If the goal was to tell the story, we knew that event coverage wasn’t going to cut it.
Fresno Regional Foundation was extremely pleased with the outcome. We knew we needed to capture the emotion, the excitement, and the purpose behind the event. An important element of this mini-documentary was telling the story of how the event came together. Seeing the joy expressed by the families who attended this event was a great experience for our team. We can’t wait until the next event.
